Sail Boat Specs: 

General Comments:
 The naval architect Stan Huntingford designed the Rafiki as a sea-going cruiser with ample displacement and extra strong construction. This capable off shore vessel is gleaming with her bright work and interior wood just re-done. She shows exceptionally well and has had all systems professionally checked out. She is ready to sail the coast or head out to sea.

New mast in 2010, All rigging inspected and she was professionally re-fit in 2010.

Accommodation:
 Sleeps 6 :
2 in V berth , 2 on convertible settee, 1 on settee, midship on starboard side and 1 in aft quarterberth on starboard side. She has a Dickinson diesel stove, 40 gal holding tank and a Wood heater.

Galley:
 Dickinson diesel stove, Ice Box and SS sinks.

Mechanical:
 37 hp Volvo MD3 Diesel, Tiller steering and a Campbell sailing propeller.

Performance under power: 

Rig and Sails:
 Furling headsail, Main, Tri-sail, 135% Genoa, 115% Genoa, 100% Genoa and an H D Whisker pole.

Deck:
 22 Kg CQR anchor, 150' of chain and 150' of rode, Custom hard dodger, 9' inflatable with 4 hp./4 stroke Yamaha and a Life Sling.

Electrical:
 12/120V, 1-8D battery and 1-4D battery, portable battery charger and a 75 Watt Solar Panel.

Electronics and Navigation:
 New CP 150 Standard Horizon Chart Plotter, VHF, Compass and a Depth Sounder.
